The Hyland Technology Initiative Scholarship represents Hyland Software’s commitment to encouraging and embracing technology development in our community. The spirit of this scholarship is to provide assistance to graduating seniors who share the same passion for software development that has allowed our company to be successful. Scholarships will range from $500 to $1000. Potential recipients will be interviewed and tested on site at Hyland’s headquarters in Westlake, Ohio.

General Criteria:

• Must be currently enrolled in structured academic environment
• Must be a graduating senior
• Ability to develop a software application
• Must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or its equivalent
• Scholarship is to be used only at an accredited college / university

Candidates will be evaluated on:

• Academic performance
• Technical aptitude test given at Hyland’s headquarters in Westlake, Oh.
• References
• Community involvement

• Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Submit all information no later than May 7, 2010. This scholarship will be awarded by an internal committee within Hyland Software including representatives from our Human Resource department, Management Team and Operations department. On-site interviews will only be scheduled with those meeting the above criteria and all decisions are FINAL. The scholarship check will be made out to the accredited college of the recipient’s choice or, if more appropriate, to the entity responsible for the financial commitment of the recipient.
